centre called Oystermouth, for its history as an oyster fishing port, is a further 15 minute walk along the promenade, where many individual specialist shops, art galleries, pubs and restaurants can be found close to the castle ruins towering over one of the main streets.

positioned on the spectacular sweep of Swansea Bay, a premier coastal destination in the UK. Local buses run regularly to the compact and easily accessible city centre, which has many

attractions for the visitor, including The Glynn Vivian art gallery, Marina, Maritime Quarter, NationalWaterfront Museum, the Grand Theatre , Plantasia and the recently

refurbished leisure centre LC2. The largest traditional covered market in Wales, independent shops, together with “High Street”departments and the indoor Quadrant stores, offer excellent

shopping opportunities  Walkers, photographers and bird watchers will enjoy the cliff footpath, that runs from Limeslade, to Langland Bay (2 miles) and then onwards to Caswell Bay (3 miles). Further on,
with breathtaking views and beautiful scenery, is Three Cliffs,  Oxwich,  Port Eynon, Worms Head and Rhosilli.
